Red Cross Month

What a special week it was! This month is Red Cross month and everyone here at Frey'd Fantasy had a great opportunity to help out and support the cause. First of all, for anybody who doesn't know what the Red Cross is, it is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and education throughout the United States. Did you know that the American Red Cross helps someone every 8 seconds? This is an incredible organization who also do a lot of work with blood donations and blood products.

At Frey'd Fantasy, we wanted to give back to the Red Cross and help as much as we possibly could. Every time a draft kit is bought, we donate 20% to the Red Cross. Not only are all of the draft kits on sale, we will also be hosting an event on the field at Miller Park! The event will be held on Friday, March 4th at 2 PM. Our event will have a lot of fun activities that the whole family can enjoy! Some of these activities will include running the bases, autograph sessions, even bring you glove along to play some catch on the field, a once and a lifetime opportunity! We are working on getting as many players to come to the event as possible.

Running the Bases

As stated before the event will be held on March, 4th at 2:00 we will be meeting in the west commons and from there we'll be taking the field around 2 PM. The tickets will be $30 per person or $75 for the whole family. All proceeds will be going to the American Red Cross. Upon entry everyone will also receive a free Red Cross t-shirt. Bring the whole family out for once in a lifetime opportunity, can't wait to see you all there!

Take a Penny Leave a Penny

This week was a great week for Frey'd Fantasy. Not only did we we continue to evolve the empire that is Frey'd Fantasy, I also had a great opportunity to help out a very talented and good friend of mine, Greg. First off I want to do a little introduction on how I became friends with Greg and also help to promote his up and coming business as well. Recently Greg started his own operation called Gregarious Exterior Home Design. Although he may have just started the business recently, it is really starting to take off and become a powerhouse in the exterior industry. I got to experience this first hand when I asked for some help to develop a retaining wall and three season porch for my cottage that I have been only dreaming of for years. For most this would be a lengthy and spendy process. Greg and the rest of Gregarious Exteriors were not only there for me right when I asked, but also took things to a place I couldn't even imagine. First was the beautiful retaining wall, then came the three season porch. Both jobs turned out great. I especially thankful for the three-season porch. I have always wanted a porch where I can have people over, grill, and even a little left over room for my hot tub that will be on the way. I honestly couldn't ask for a better turn out on both jobs and am extremely thankful for the work done. I highly recommend Gregarious Exteriors and Home Design to anyone looking to build or renovate beautiful projects.

High-Five!
Greg has been struggling in fantasy baseball for years, so we came up with a little agreement that if I was able to provide him with some insight on the upcoming baseball season, I was in exchange granted a discount on his services. I provided greg a full draft kit, with sleepers, busts, and possible call ups that can make or break a team's chances. The best part about it was that it all took place in my brand new three season porch that Greg and the crew built. But that is besides the fact, it was a great opportunity for me to help a great friend and help answer any questions he had. We went over each position and found the best options that will be available and what to expect come season start. Although Greg hasn't had his draft, he does know his draft position. Knowing that was huge because we were right away able to develop a mock draft and figure out who should be available when. Not only that, but I was available to develop a top 10 ranking system for each position. What an experience this was, we are both happy with how everything turned out and looking forward to the upcoming season!

Open House!

Welcome back everyone,

This week I have some special news to share for you all. I am introducing the first ever "Get FREY'd" fantasy baseball camp. This activity will feature many events ranging from fantasy tips, expert analysis, and a possible celebrity guest appearance. The event will take place on Saturday, February 20th. There will be many events taking place, since the event is still new and in the beginning stages there may be some changes made during the process, but right now we are planning on meeting at Miller Park in room 200A that  I have already reserved. We are going to start by introducing the panel and getting everyone familiarized with the location and surroundings. From there, We will meet in the main commons to exchange intentions and meet new competitors.

The guest that I have scheduled to attend is Jonaton Lucroy, the starting catcher for the Milwaukee Brewers. He is a former All-Star and current stud of the Brewers. Not only Will this event offer the adults fantasy tips, but also a chance to bring the kids along and offer some on field experience at the prestigious Miller Park. As I stated before this is the first time this event has taken place so I am still looking for volunteers and sponsors to offer prizes and awards. I am looking forward for this to be a building block to something great in the fantasy community and one day be a main stay in the world of fantasy baseball. I am looking forward to seeing you all there, lets make this a day to remember!

Best regards,

Frey Guy
